Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fought hard in a 3-0 loss to #20 Central Missouri on Friday evening in Bolivar. With the loss the Bearcats drop to 2-17 (1-5 MIAA) on the season.

After falling in the first set 25-7, the Bearcats came back with a strong 25-21 performance in set two, but fell 3-0 after dropping the third and final set 25-15. Delanie Tipton and Sam Ibarra both produced a team high 4 kills, while Bailey Baumann had 11 digs, Whitney Johnson had 10 digs, and Brea Freeman had 12 assists in the loss.

The Bearcats will hit the road on Saturday, October 7 when they travel to Lindenwood. Play is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. from St. Charles, Missouri.
