Pittsburg, Kan. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team took the first set from Pittsburg State on Friday evening, but would ultimately fall 3-1 in the contest. After the loss the Bearcats drop to 2-25 (1-12 MIAA) on the season.
SBU took the first set 25-22 before dropping the next three sets 25-18, 25-11, and 25-17.
Dana Neal gave the Bearcats her second straight double-double, collecting a team high 10 kills to go along with 13 digs.
Bailey Baumann led the Bearcats with 14 digs, while
Brea Freeman had 33 assists in the loss.
The Bearcats will continue their road trip on Saturday, October 28 when they travel to #13 Central Oklahoma. Play is set to begin at 7:00 p.m from Edmond, Oklahoma.
