Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell 3-0 to #7 Nebraska-Kearney on Friday evening. With the loss the Bearcats drop to 2-22 (1-9 MIAA) on the season.

The Bearcats dropped set one 25-13, set two 25-19, and the third and final set 25-13. Katie Robinson again led the Bearcats in kills, with 8, while Mikahela Cochran had a team high 6 blocks. Bailey Baumann registered a team high 14 digs, followed by 9 digs from Dana Neal, while Brea Freeman had 11 assists and Ashleigh DeWees added 7 assists in the loss.

SBU will return to action on Saturday, October 21 when they host Fort Hays State. Play is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. from the Meyer Sports Center in Bolivar.
