                 Emporia, Kan. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell 3-1 to Emporia State on Saturday evening. With the loss the Bearcats drop to 2-20 (1-8 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats took the first set against the Hornets 25-22, but fell 25-7, 25-14, and 25-10 in sets two through four as they fell 3-1 in the match. 
Katie Robinson collected an impressive 10 blocks, to go along with 6 kills, while 
Dana Neal had a team high 8 kills. 
Brea Freeman collected 16 assists to go along with 8 digs, while 
Bailey Baumann collected 9 digs in the loss.
SBU will return to action on Tuesday, October 17 when they travel to Drury. Play is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from Springfield, Missouri.
