Topeka, Kan. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell on the road at Washburn on Friday evening 3-0. With the loss the Bearcats drop to 2-19 (1-7 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats fell in the first set 25-9, the second 25-17, and the third set 25-12. 
Brea Freeman had a team high 17 assists, while 
Bailey Baumann had a team high 9 digs. 
Dana Neal led SBU with 6 kills, to go along with 8 digs, while 
Katie Robinson chipped in 5 kills in the loss.
SBU will return to action on Saturday, October 14 when they travel to Emporia State. Play is set to begin at 8:00 p.m. from Emporia, Kansas.
