Box Score Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's soccer team fell 5-1 against Lindenwood on Sunday afternoon in Bolivar.
Lindenwood struck first in the 33rd minute of play, as Southwest Baptist went into the break trailing 1-0. The Lions added goals in 59th and 62nd minutes of play before the Bearcats got on the board in the 64th minute of play.
John Clerveau connected with the right side of the goal, pass the keeper, as the Bearcats pulled within two at 3-1. Lindenwood would add two more goals as Southwest Baptist would eventually fall 5-1.
The Bearcats will return to action on Sunday, October 8 when they travel to Northeastern State. Play is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
