Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist will hit the road on Thursday for a trip to Oklahoma when they face off against Northeastern State.
The Coaches and the All-Time Series
SBU head coach
Kelsey Keizer in her third season on the Bearcat bench after leading SBU to their first winning season in 9 years (16-13, 11-11 MIAA) last season. The 11 MIAA wins also marks the second most conference wins in program history. Coach Keizer holds a career coaching record of 27-31, including a 15-26 mark in the MIAA.
Randy Gipson begins his 18th season as the head coach at Northeastern State. Gipson holds a career coaching record of 599-261 across 28 years, including a 309-184 record while at Northeastern State.
Southwest Baptist leads the all-time series against Northeastern State 9-8. The Bearcats claimed a 77-68 victory earlier this season in Bolivar.

The Bearcats enter the game at Northeastern State 11-9 (3-8 MIAA) and are coming off of an 84-77 loss to #7 Emporia State. SBU is led in scoring by

Northeastern State enters the game against Southwest Baptist 6-13 (2-8 MIAA) on the season. The RiverHawks are coming off of a 72-60 loss at #9 Pittsburg State. Northeastern State is led in scoring by Rylie Torrey who averages 17.3 ppg, while Cailyn Long averages 14.6 ppg. Mary Jane Buschmann averages 9.6 ppg and a team high 5.9 rpg. As a team NSU shoots 39.7% from the field, 31.9% from beyond the arc, 78.5% from the line, and average 63.0 ppg.
