Oklahoma City, Okla. - The Southwest Baptist University men's soccer team fell on the road at Oklahoma Christian 3-1. With the loss SBU drops to 0-3 on the season.
In the first half SBU outshot OCU 6-3, but the two teams went into the break tied 0-0. In the second half OCU was the first to strike, taking a 1-0 lead off of a penalty kick. Oklahoma Christian then added two more goals in under three minutes, as the Bearcats trailed 3-0. The Bearcats got on the board in the 87th minute when
Jesus Lopez sent a corner kick into the box where Isaac McCay headed in his first goal of the season. However, the goal was not enough as SBU fell 3-1.
The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, September 10 when they travel to Dallas Baptist. Play is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from Dallas, Texas.
