Topeka, Kan. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell on the road at #18 Washburn on Friday evening 3-0. With the loss SBU drops to 3-13 (0-3 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats fell in set one 25-15, set two 25-16, and set three 25-10. SBU was led in digs by 
Bailey Baumann and 
Serena Mar who had 10 digs a piece, while Mar also collected a team high 8 assists. 
Dana Neal had a team high 5 kills, while 
Kalyn Sotomayor chipped in 4 kills in the loss.
SBU will return to action on Saturday, October 1 when they travel to Emporia State to take on the Lady Hornets. Play is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from Emporia, Kansas.
