Edmond, Okla. - The Southwest Baptist University women's soccer team fell in a road non-conference match against Central Oklahoma on Sunday 2-1. With the loss, SBU drops to 0-4 on the season.
Central Oklahoma struck first in the 21st minute off of a penalty kick, as the Bearcats would trailed 1-0 heading into the half. In the 55th minute, the Bearcats would answer with an
Elin Hammar goal, tying the game at 1-1. The game would remain tied until the 83rd minute of action when UCO would net their second goal of the game as SBU would end up falling 2-1.
The Bearcats will return to action on Thursday, September 22 when they host Northeastern State in a non-conference match. The game is set to begin at 4:00 p.m. from the SBU Soccer Field in Bolivar.
