Dallas, Tex. - The Southwest Baptist University men's soccer team dropped a tough 1-0 contest at Dallas Baptist on Saturday evening. With the loss SBU drops to 0-4 on the season.

The Bearcats and Patriots were evenly matched throughout the first half as each team registered three shot attempts as SBU and DBU went into the half tied 0-0. Dallas Baptist would be the first to strike, taking a 1-0 lead in the 53rd minute of play. SBU continued to get off shots, but were unable to convert as the Bearcats would eventually fall 1-0.

SBU will return to action on Tuesday, September 13 when the Bearcats are set to host Truman State. Play is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. from Bolivar.
