Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist University sophomore men's tennis athlete Torben Semrau has been named CoSIDA Academic All-District as announced by the organization today.

Semrau earned All-MIAA 1st Team honors earlier this month, and finished the 2016 season with a 12-6 record in singles (from the no. 4 position) and a 15-6 record in doubles (from the no. 2 position).

Semrau will now advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-American ballot with the All-American teams being announced later this month.
