Springfield, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team in the championship match of the MIAA Men's Tennis Tournament on Sunday morning to #14 Northwest Missouri 5-0. With the loss, SBU now stands at 13-7 on the season.
Northwest Missouri jumped out to a 3-0 lead after doubles play, as they went on to claim the 5-0 victory over Southwest Baptist.
SBU will await the announcement of the teams selected for the NCAA Division II National Championships which will be announced Tuesday, May 3 at 7:00 p.m. via www.ncaa.com.
