Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team avenged an early season loss to Ouachita Baptist by claiming a 5-2 victory over the #26 ranked team in the NCAA on Saturday morning. With the win, SBU improves to 9-5 on the season.
At the conclusion of doubles play, the Bearcats trailed OBU 2-1. From the #2 doubles position,

Torben Semrau picked up the long point for the Bearcats in an 8-4 victory. The Bearcats then went on to claim four of the six singles matches, with two remaining unfinished, as SBU would claim the 5-2 victory.
SBU will return to action on Saturday, April 16 when they host #16 Northwest Missouri. Play is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. from Bolivar, Missouri.
