Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University baseball team fell in a mid-week MIAA contest against Central Missouri on Tuesday afternoon 9-0. After the loss, SBU falls to 19-24 (14-19 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats and Mules were scoreless through two innings of play before a lengthy lightning delay halted play for over an hour. The Mules would go on to score seven more runs as the Bearcats would eventually fall 9-0.
Christian Binger led the Bearcats with a pair of hits on the afternoon.
SBU will be back in action on Tuesday, April 28 when they host Nebraska-Kearney to open up a three-game series. Opening pitch is set for 3:00 p.m. from Dodson Field in Bolivar.
