Topeka, Kan. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team concluded the regular season with an 8-1 victory at Washburn on Sunday afternoon. The Bearcats finish off the regular season 19-3 (9-1 MIAA) on the season.

The Bearcats cruised through doubles play, taking a 3-0 lead heading into the singles competition. The Bearcats picked up singles victories from the number one position through the number five position as SBU picked up the 8-1 victory.

SBU will be back in action in the first round of the MIAA Tournament on Friday, April 29 when they play Lindenwood from Springfield, Missouri.
