Emporia, Kan. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team picked up their ninth straight victory on Saturday with an 8-1 road win over Emporia State. After the win SBU now stands at 18-3 (8-1 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats opened up play by taking all three doubles matches before claiming five of the six singles matches.

Zorana Jovanovic all picked up singles wins in straight sets as SBU cruised to an 8-1 victory.
SBU will return to action on Sunday, April 24 when they travel to Washburn to close out the regular season. Play is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. from Topeka, Kansas.
