Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team picked up their second straight MIAA victory on Saturday morning in Bolivar, taking down Fort Hays State 9-0. With the win, SBU improves to 11-3 (3-1 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats made quick work of the Tigers in doubles play, taking all three matches to gain the early 3-0 lead. The Bearcats then finished off the clean sweep by taking all six doubles matches in straight sets, while Hays never managed more than two points in any single set.
SBU will return to action on Thursday, April 7 when they host Lindenwood. Play is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. from Bolivar.
