Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University baseball team will hit the road on Tuesday to take on Central Missouri at 1:00 p.m. before coming home to host Pittsburg State in a three-game series beginning on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.

Scouting the MulesCentral Missouri enters the game against Southwest Baptist 25-10 (23-5 MIAA) on the season. The Mules are led offensively by Jake Alexander who is hitting a team high .364 on the season, while Bennett Oliver leads the Mules with 12 homeruns and 28 rbi. Derek Cornell is second on the team in batting average (.339) while scoring a team high 33 runs. On the mound Ethan Westphal holds a 6-1 record to go along with a 2.26 ERA, while out of the pin Grant Gavin has picked up 7 saves. As a team, UCM holds a MIAA leading 3.56 ERA.
Scouting the GorillasPittsburg State enters the week 10-27 (5-23 MIAA) on the season. The Gorillas are led offensively by Jacob Boylan who is hitting a team high .361 to go along with a team high 40 runs scored. Andrew Vogelbaugh has hit a a team high 11 homeruns while driving in a team high 44 rbi to go along with a .349 batting average. On the mound, George Brandecker holds a 6.20 ERA as PSU holds the second worst team ERA in the MIAA at 9.37.
