Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team picked up their sixth straight victory on Friday afternoon with a 9-0 sweep of Missouri Western. With the win, SBU now stands at 15-3 (6-1 MIAA) on the season.

Lara Soares picked up an 8-1 victory at number one doubles and
Maria Josie Zehnder/
Lani Tuemmers earned an 8-2 victory at number two doubles. Closing out the doubles competition,
Klara Vickov/
Zorana Jovanovic earned an 8-3 number three doubles win. SBU then earned all six singles points, winning each match in straight sets, as SBU cruised to the 9-0 victory.
SBU will return to action on Saturday, April 16 when they host Northwest Missouri in SBU's final home contest of the regular season. Play is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. from Bolivar, Missouri.
