Red Oak, Iowa - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team picked up a big regional victory over #48 Augustana (SD) on Saturday afternoon 5-4. With the win, the Bearcats improve to 6-0 on the season.
SBU fell behind early, trailing 2-1 after doubles play. The doubles team of

Lani Tuemmers picked up the lone doubles point for SBU. The Bearcats came back to take four of the six singles play to come away with the 5-4 victory.

Klara Vickov, and Tuemmers all picked up singles victories to seal it for SBU.
The Bearcats will return to action on Sunday, March 13 when they travel to Washburn to open up MIAA play. Play is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. from Topeka, Kansas.
