Kansas City, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University cruised to an 8-1 victory at Rockhurst on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Bearcats improve to 4-2 on the season.

SBU swept doubles play to open up with a 3-0 advantage. SBU then saw singles victories from Sherif Abohabaga, Chris Blodig, Torben Semrau, Rual Rodriguez, and Marcel Castillo as they rolled to the 8-1 victory.

The Bearcats will be back in action on Sunday, March 13 when they travel to Washburn in SBU's MIAA opener. Play is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. from Topeka, Kansas.
