Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team fell to the hands of #16 Northeastern State on Saturday morning in Bolivar. With the loss, SBU drops to 9-3 (1-1 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats used strong doubles play to take an early 2-1 advantage. The doubles teams of

Lani Tuemmers both picked up victories for SBU. However, the Bearcats were only able to take two singles matches, with Soares and Tuemmers coming away with wins, as SBU would fall 5-4.
SBU will return to action on Friday, April 1 when they host Nebraska-Kearney. Play is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. from Bolivar, Missouri.
