Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team picked up an 8-1 victory over Evangel on Tuesday, improving to 8-2 on the season.

The Bearcats successfuly swept doubles play, with victories coming from the doubles teams of Christina Zentai/Lara Soares, Klara Vickov/Lani Tuemmers, and Zorana Jovanovic/Beatrix Federer. In singles competition, Zentai, Soares, Vickov, Jovanovic, and Federer all picked up victories to give SBU the 8-1 win.

SBU will be back in action on Friday, March 25 when they host Central Oklahoma to open up MIAA play. Play is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. from Bolivar, Missouri.
