Lawton, Okla. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team came up short at #20 Cameron on Thursday afternoon 5-4. With the loss, SBU now stands at 6-2 on the season.

The Bearcats started strong against Cameron, taking two of three doubles matches. Christina Zentai/Lara Soares and Lani Tummers/Klara Vickov both earned doubles victories, while Zentai and Soares both claimed singles victory. However, the Bearcats would drop four of the six singles matches as they fell 5-4.

SBU will return to action on Friday, March 18 when they travel to East Central. Play is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. from Ada, Oklahoma.
