Wichita Falls, Tex. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team narrowly upset #12 Midwestern State on Wednesday, but fell 5-4 on the road. After the loss, SBU falls to 4-3 on the season.
After doubles play, the Bearcats trailed 3-0 needing five singles win to pull out the victory. The Bearcats took 1-4 singles, with
Sherif Abohabaga,
Gyorgy Argoston,
Chris Blodig, and
Torben Semrau all picking up victories, but it was enough as SBU fell 5-4.
The Bearcats will return to action on Thursday, March 17 when they travel to #20 Cameron. Play is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. from Lawton, Oklahoma.
