Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University softball team is set to host three MIAA schools across four days. On Friday, the Bearcats will host Northwest Missouri at 1:00, followed by a 12:00 start against Missouri Western on Saturday, and a 1:00 start against Missouri Southern on Monday.
Scouting the BearcatsSouthwest Baptist comes into the week 10-12 (3-1 MIAA) on the season. The Bearcats are led offensively by
Rachel Ray who is hitting a team high .358 on the season, while
Dana Graves is hitting .344 with a team high 10 rbi and 7 doubles. In the circle,
Kacey Ayers boasts a 2.21 ERA to go along with 59 strikeouts in 88.2 innings pitched.
Scouting Northwest MissouriNorthwest Missouri comes into the double-header against SBU with a 15-3 (3-1 MIAA) record on the season. Northwest Missouri is led offensively by Rebecca Maher who is hitting .408 on the season with a team high 16 rbi. Alexis Kelsey is hitting .368 with a team high 5 homeruns, as NWMSU has six athletes hitting over .333 on the season. In the circle Kendle Schieber holds a 7-2 record with a 1.92 ERA.
Scouting the GriffonsMissouri Western comes into the weekend with a 14-6 (4-0 MIAA) record on the season. The Griffons are led by Morgan Rathmann who is hitting a team high .380 on the season. Taylor Hamilton has knocked in a team high 18 rbi, while Katie Klostermann has hit a team high 4 homeruns on the year. In the circle Shyanne Saladino holds a 1.57 ERA while Janie Smith has a 2.82 ERA.

The Lions are led offensively by Abi Corbett who is hitting a team high .354, while Sarah Williams leads MSSU with 6 homeruns and 21 rbi despite a .225 average. In the circle Ashley Lutz holds a 3.17 ERA while holding opponents to a .230 batting average.
