Box Score 2 Magnolia, Ark. – The Southwest Baptist University fell in a pair of games at the Southern Arkansas Invitational on Saturday. SBU fell in extra innings to Cameron 3-2 before dropping a contest against Texas Woman's 9-1. At the conclusion of the day, SBU stands at 1-3 on the season.
In SBU's 3-2 loss to Cameron, CU took a 1-0 lead in the second inning off of an SBU error. The Bearcats responded in the top of the third with a pair of runs to take a 2-1 lead. With runners on first and second with two outs in the inning,
Kaley Hansen doubled to left center, plating both runners, and giving the Bearcats a 2-1 lead. However, Cameron would score in the fourth and in the bottom of the ninth as SBU fell 3-2.

In the second day of the game,
Tyler Hernandez hit an rbi double to right field to score
Rachel Ray as SBU would fall 9-1 to Texas Woman's.
The Bearcats are set to play two more contests on Sunday, February 7 at the SAU Invitational. The Bearcats take on Rogers State at 10:00 a.m. followed by Newman at 12:00 p.m. from Magnolia, Arkansas.
