Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist will hit the road for three straight road games starting at Nebraska-Kearney on Thursday.

Clark Sheehy begins his second season on the SBU bench after coming off of a 11-18 (6-13 MIAA) record last season. Coach Sheehy holds a career coaching record of 193-119 across ten seasons while coaching six different All-Americans and over 20 athletes that have moved on to play professional basketball.
Kevin Lofton begins his 11th season as the head coach at Nebraska-Kearney, holding the co-head coach title for the past 10 years. Lofton holds a career coaching record of 156-125.
Southwest Baptist leads the all-time series against Nebraska-Kearney 4-3. The Bearcats claimed a 70-60 victory over UNK earlier this season in Bolivar.
Scouting the BearcatsThe Bearcats are coming off of a thrilling 104-98 triple overtime victory over Washburn, and are now 9-11 (4-10 MIAA) on the season. The Bearcats are led in scoring and rebounding by

The Lopers are coming off of a 90-64 victory over Fort Hays and have won three straight. UNK is led in scoring and rebounding by Connor Beranek who is averaging 25.1 ppg and 8.6 rpg. Trey Lansman averages 15.8 ppg and 4.5 rpg, while Ethan Brozek averages 14.8 ppg and 6.9 rpg.
