Fort Smith, Ark. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team defeated Southeastern Oklahoma State 5-0 on Saturday afternoon. With the victory, SBU improves to 5-0 on the season.

Southwest Baptist swept doubles play, with victories from Christina Zentai/Lara Soares, Maria Josie Zehnder/Klara Vickov, and Lani Tuemmers/Beatrix Federer. SBU then claimed two singles match, Zehnder & Soares, before play was suspended as SBU picked up the 5-0 victory.

SBU will be back in action on Saturday, March 5 when they travel to Red Oak, Iowa to take on #49 Augustana. Play is set to begin at 10:00 a.m.
