Fort Smith, Ark. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team rolled to a 7-2 victory over Arkansas-Fort Smith on Saturday. With the win, SBU improves to 3-1 on the season.
The Bearcats started the match off with a straight sweep in doubles, with the doubles teams of
Sherif Abohabaga/
Chris Blodig,
Gyorgy Argoston/
Torben Semrau, and
Raul Rodriguez/
Omar Diab all picking up victories. SBU recieved singles victories from Argoston, Semrau, Caballero, and
Marcel Castillo to cruise to the 7-2 win.
SBU will return to action on Sunday, February 28 when they play #25 Southeastern Oklahoma in a key regional match. Play is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. from Fort Smith, Arkansas.
