Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist closes out the home portion of their schedule on Saturday when they host #19 Pittsburg State on senior day.
The Coaches and All-Time SeriesSBU head coach
Kelsey Keizer is in her second season on the Bearcat bench after leading SBU to a 9-18 (4-15 MIAA) record last season. Coach Keizer had spent the past three years as the assistant at Southwest Baptist after playing collegiately for Division I Drake.
Lane Lord is in his 9th season as the head coach at Pittsburg State. Lord holds a career Division II coaching record of 154-83, all while at PSU.
Pittsburg State leads the all-time series against Southwest Baptist 32-25. The Gorillas claimed an 87-84 overtime victory over the Bearcats earlier this season in Pittsburg.
Scouting the BearcatsSouthwest Baptist is coming off of an impressive 65-52 victory over Missouri Southern, and are now 14-11 (9-10 MIAA) on the season. The Bearcats are led in scoring by
Caylee Richardson who averages 13.1 ppg and 8.0 rpg, while
Megan Rosenbohm averages 11.1 ppg off of the bench.
Dilonna Johnson averages 10.7 ppg and a team high 3.9 apg, while

Scouting the GorillasPittsburg State is coming off of a 68-64 road victory over Central Missouri, and are now 22-4 (16-4 MIAA) entering the contest against Southwest Baptist. The Gorillas have won 11 straight, and are currently ranked #19 in the latest WBCA Poll. The Gorillas are led in scoring by Mikaela Burgess who averages 18.4 ppg. Kylie Gafford averages 13.3 ppg and a team high 5.8 rpg, while Cathy Brugman averages 12.9 ppg.
