Bolivar, Mo. – Southwest Baptist University's "League of Legends" Bearcats swept the series against Mississippi State University's "Solar Eclipse", 2-0, on Saturday, Nov. 5.
 
SBU dominated both games against the Bulldogs and improved to 3-1 on the season.
 
Game 1 featured a perfect game from Steven Verlautz (FoolishKings), overpowering his opponent in mid-lane, which allowed the Bearcats to apply extreme pressure in both top and bottom lanes. Verlautz and SBU Jungler, Joseph Reyes (LordVadarem), contributed 16 of SBU's 22 kills. SBU finished the game in the 22^nd minute, winning in kills 22-6, assists 38-14, and a 17k gold lead.
 
SBU won Game 2 in the 25^th minute. Michael Morley (PunGuy) and Joseph Reyes (LordVadarem) had perfect games without a death. Shane Roberts (BaconOP) demolished the Bulldogs with 10 kills. The Bearcats finished the game leading in kills 27-5, assists 40-7, and a dominating 19k gold lead.
 
SBU will host the University of Nebraska's "Huskers Team Five" at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, from its home arena in the Goodson Student Union.
