Tahlequah, Okla. - The Southwest Baptist University men's soccer team fell 3-1 at the hands of Northeastern State on Saturday evening.
Northeastern State jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half, scoring in the 12th and 25th minutes, as the Bearcats trailed 2-0 at the half. NSU then came out and scored a goal in the 48th minute before the Bearcats were able to respond in the 64th minute.
Garrett Gibson fed
Ben Newell in SBU's lone goal of the evening as the Bearcats would eventually fall 3-1.
SBU concludes the 2016 season 0-16-2 (0-8 MIAA).
