Bolivar, Mo. - In the final SBU Men's Soccer non-conference game of the year, the Bearcats tied Southern Nazarene 1-0. SBU now stands at 0-11-2 on the season.

The Bearcats were the first to strike in the 11th minute of action when Gabriel Gaviolli dribbled in and took a shot from 10 yards out to give SBU a 1-0 lead. SBU outshot SNU 7-5 across the first half, as the Bearcats took a 1-0 lead into halftime. In the second half SNU tied the game in the 64th minute, as the game would eventually head into overtime tied 1-1. The Bearcats and Crimson Storm each had 2 shot opportunities across the two overtime periods, but neither team netted a goal as the game would end in a 1-1 tie.

SBU will return to action on Wednesday, October 12 when they host Northeastern State. Play is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. from the SBU Soccer Field in Bolivar.
