Emporia, Kan. - The Southwest Baptist University women's soccer team fell on the road at Emporia State on Friday, 4-0. With the loss SBU drops to 0-10 (0-4 MIAA) on the season.
Emporia State jumped to early 1-0 lead in the 14th minute of play, and extended their lead to 2-0 a minute later, as the Hornets eventually took a 2-0 lead into the half. The Bearcats were unable to get going offensively as they would eventually fall to ESU 4-0.
SBU will return to action on Sunday, October 9 when they travel to Washburn. Play is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. from Topeka, Kansas.
