SBU Women's Soccer Hosts MSSU on Tuesday, Travel to ESU and WU this Weekend

Bolivar, Mo. -- SBU concludes their homestand by hosting Missouri Southern in a non-conference match on Tuesday before hitting the road on Friday and Sunday.

The Coaches
Megan Link will begin her second season as the head coach at Southwest Baptist and holds a career coaching record of 9-9 (6-4 MIAA).

Chris McNaughton is in his first season as the head coach at Missouri Southern after spending three seasons as an assistant at ULM.

Bryan Sailer is in his 5th season as the head coach at Emporia State and holds a career coaching record of 91-67-18 including a 32-44-16 mark at ESU.

Chris Jones is in his 2nd season as the head coach at Washburn. Jones holds a 5-9-5 career coaching record.

Scouting the Opponents

Emily Haselwood leads the Lady Hornets with 2 goals scored on the season, as 9 different athletes have scored for ESU this year. In goal Yadira Rivera holds a 0.67 GAA with 39 saves.

Washburn enters the weekend 5-4-1 (1-2 MIAA) on the season and are coming off of a 1-0 loss to #23 Northeastern State. The Ichabods are led in scoring by Emily Stauffer who has 3 goals on the season, while in goal Kaitlin Minnich holds a 0.85 GAA and 27 saves.

Southwest Baptist comes into the weekend 0-8 (0-3 MIAA) on the season after falling to Missouri Western 1-0 in their last contest. Elin Hammar leads SBU with 2 goals and 1 assist, while in goal Makayla Hussong has a 1.33 GAA with 9 saves on the season.
