Bolivar, Mo. – The Southwest Baptist University women's soccer team fell at the hands of Missouri Southern on Tuesday afternoon 3-0. With the loss the Bearcats drop to 0-9 on the season.

After nearly 30 minutes of scoreless action the Lady Lions were the first to strike in the 30th minute, and would add another goal shortly before halftime as the Bearcats went into the break trailing 2-0. In the second half MSSU added to their lead in the 61st minute as SBU would fall 3-0 in the non-conference match.

The Bearcats will hit the road on Friday, October 7 when they travel to Emporia State. Play is set to begin at 4:00 p.m. from Emporia, Kansas.
