Kearney, Neb. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell at #4 Nebraska-Kearney on Friday evening 3-0. With the loss SBU drops to 3-23 (0-12 MIAA) on the season.

The Bearcats fell in set one 25-10, set two 25-18, and the third and final set 25-11. Kalyn Sotomayor once again led SBU in points with 7.5 (7 kills, 1 total block) while Serena Mar picked up 23 assists to go along with 9 digs. Also collecting a team high 9 digs in the contest was Bailey Baumann.

SBU will return to action on Saturday, October 29 when they travel to Fort Hays State. Play is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. from Hays, Kansas.
