St. Joseph, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team lost a 3-0 decision at Missouri Western on Saturday afternoon. With the loss SBU drops to 3-22 (0-11 MIAA) on the season.

The Bearcats fell in the first set 25-16 before dropping sets two and three by a score of 25-19. Kalyn Sotomayor continues to lead SBU in points, collecting 10 points (10 kills), while Katie Robinson had 7.0 points (5 kills, 3 total blocks). Serena Mar had 23 assists, while Bailey Baumann had a team high 7 digs in the loss.

SBU will return to action on Friday, October 28 when they travel to #4 Nebraska-Kearney. Play is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from Kearney, Nebraska.
