SBU Women's Soccer Travels to Lindenwood & Central Missouri this Weekend

Bolivar, Mo. -- SBU will travel to Lindenwood and Central Missouri to open up a four-game road trip to conclude the 2016 season.

The Coaches
Megan Link will begin her second season as the head coach at Southwest Baptist and holds a career coaching record of 9-9 (6-4 MIAA).

Laurie Kaminski enters her 12th season as the head coach at Linenwood. Kaminski holds a creer coaching record of 97-85-22 and the program has advanced to postseason play four times.

Lewis Theobald enters his 10th season as the head coach at Central Missouri. Theobald holds a career coaching record of 151-25- 18, including a 101-11-6 mark in the MIAA.

Scouting the Opponents
Lindenwood enters the weekend 6-6-1 (3-4 MIAA) and are coming off of a 1-0 victory over Emporia State. The Lady Lions are led in scoring and assists by Kat Roe who has 5 goals and 3 assists on the season. In goal Mary McGilvray has a 1.44 GAA in 8 starts, while Lauren Greenstein has a 1.47 GAA in 5 starts.

Central Missouri enters the weekend 12-1 (6-1 MIAA) and are coming off of a 3-0 victory over Washburn. UCM is ranked #4 in the latest NSCAA National Rankings. The Jennies are lead in scoring and assists by Jada Scott who has 7 goals and 5 assists on the year. Hannah Pyle and Baylie Edwards each have 4 goals on the season. In goal Ana Dilkes has a 0.15 GAA with 51 saves and 11 shutouts.

Scouting Southwest Baptist
Southwest Baptist comes into the weekend 0-13 (0-7 MIAA) on the season after falling to Nebraska-Kearney 3-0 their last time out. Elin Hammar leads SBU with 2 goals and 2 assists, while in goal Makayla Hussong has a 2.31 GAA with 33 saves on the season.
