Bolivar, Mo. – The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell to Drury on Tuesday evening in SBU's final non-conference match of the season 3-1. With the loss SBU drops to 3-20 on the season.
Drury took set one 25-16 before the Bearcats came back to take set two 25-17 to tie the game at 1-1. However, Drury picked up a 25-16 set three victory followed by a 25-12 set four victory as SBU fell 3-1.
The Bearcats were led in points by
Dana Neal who had 10.5 (9 kills, 1 total block) to go along with 10 digs.
Serena Mar picked up a double-double, collecting 29 assists to go along with 10 digs, while
Bailey Baumann had a team high 13 digs in the loss.
SBU will return to action on Friday, October 21 when they travel to Northwest Missouri to open up a 5-game road trip. Play is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from Maryville, Missouri.
