Bolivar, Mo. -- The SBU Bearcats return home to host Lindenwood and #16 Central Missouri this weekend.

The Coaches
Caira Dortch will begin her third season as the head coach at Southwest Baptist, and holds a career coaching record of 15-44 (8-32 MIAA). Prior to soming to SBU, Dortch previously coached at Drury and Evangel.

Ron Young is in his 15th season as the head coach at Lindenwood, and holds a career coaching record of 352-190 (19-55 MIAA) across both the NCAA and NAIA levels.

Flip Piontek is in his 8th season as the head coach at Central Missouri after spending the previous 23 years as the assistant coach. Piontek holds a career coaching record of 207-38, including a 118-14 mark in the MIAA.

Scouting the Opponents
Lindenwood enters the weekend 6-11 (2-5 MIAA) and are coming off of a 3-1 victory over Missouri Western. The Lions are led in kills by Jessica Krygsheld (2.80/set) and Alex Dahlstrom (2.50/set), while Allyson Clancy averages 10.00 assists/set. Defensively Sarah Makowski averages a team high 0.98 blocks/set, and Megan Hellwege averages 4.58 digs/set.

Central Missouri enters the weekend 13-6 (3-4 MIAA) and are ranked #16 in the latest AFCA Coaches Poll. The Jennies are coming off of a 3-0 loss to Northwest Missouri and have dropped four of their last five. UCM is led by Cheyanne Lyons who averages a team high 3.31 kill/set, while four other Jennies also average over 2.0 kills/set. Setting duties belong to Kourtney Thompson who averages 10.24 assists/set,  while Katie Carlson averages 4.23 digs/set and Kylie Hohlen averages 3.75 digs/set.

Scouting the Bearcats
Southwest Baptist enters the week 3-17 (0-7 MIAA) on the season, and are coming off of a 3-0 loss at Central Oklahoma. The Bearcats are led offensively by Dana Neal who averages a team high 2.53 kills/set, and is third on the team with 2.57 digs/set. Setting duties are split between Serena Mar (4.28 assists/set) and Brea Freeman (3.36 assists/set), while Bailey Baumann averages a team high 3.86 digs/set.
