Emporia, Kan. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell on the road at Emporia State on Saturday evening 3-1. With the loss SBU drops to 3-14 (0-4 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats dropped the first two sets 25-14 and 25-19 before SBU came back to take set three 25-19. However, ESU would take the fourth set 25-19 as SBU fell 3-1 in the match. 
Serena Mar had an outstanding match, recording her first career triple double. Mar had 18 digs, 18 assists, and 10 kills while hitting .370. 
Kalyn Sotomayor picked up a team high 11 kills, while 
Dana Neal had a double-double with 10 kills and 16 digs. 
Bailey Baumann had a team high 24 digs while 
Brea Freeman had a team high 20 assists.
SBU will return to action on Tuesday, October 4 when they host Missouri Southern. Play is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from the Meyer Sports Center.
