Fayetteville, Ar. - The Southwest Baptist men's cross country team was able to pick up a 12th place finish at the Arkansas Chili Pepper Festival on October 1st.

Jake Burch led the Bearcats, placing at 47th with a time of 25:31.76. Not far behind, his teammate Jeremy Inman crossed the line with time of 25:51.47. Terry Fenske was the third Bearcat to cross the line at 84th with a time of 26:14.42, while Mitch Furtkamp was able to come in at 110 timed at 26:33.56. Also competing for the men were Jonathan Murphy (27:04.24), Thomas Chabrecek (27:11.98), Brandon Colner (27:14.78), and Travis Furtkamp (27:59.55).

SBU will travel to Rolla Missouri on October 8th for the Jackling Jocks Invitational.
