SBU Women Return Home to Host Lincoln on Thursday

Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist returns home on Thursday at host Lincoln as part of a two-game homestand.

The Coaches
SBU head coach Kelsey Keizer in her second season on the Bearcat bench after leading SBU to a 9-18 (4-15 MIAA) record last season. Coach Keizer had spent the past three years as the assistant at Southwest Baptist after playing collegiately for Division I Drake.

Nicole Collier is in her 4th season as the head coach at Lincoln. Collier holds a career coaching record of 28-51, all while at Lincoln.

Southwest Baptist leads the all-time series against Lincoln 27-11. The Blue Tigers claimed both meetings from last season, including a 61-48 victory at SBU.

Scouting the Bearcats
Southwest Baptist is coming off of a tough 87-84 overtime loss at Pittsburg State, and are now 7-7 (2-6 MIAA) on the season. The Bearcats are led in scoring and rebounding by Caylee Richardson who is averaging just short of a double-double at 12.0 ppg and 8.2 rpg, while Megan Rosenbohm also averages 11.2 ppg. Dilonna Johnson averages 10.7 ppg and a team high 3.9 apg, while Mackenzie Skupa is averaging 8.3 ppg and 3.7 rpg.

Scouting the Blue Tigers
Lincoln enters the game against Southwest Baptist on a 5-game losing streak and are 6-9 (2-7 MIAA) on the season. The Blue Tigers are coming off of a 68-41 loss against #3 Fort Hays State their last time out.  LU is led in scoring and rebounding by Zuri Hill who is averaging 13.8 ppg and 7.7 rpg. Hunter Yoakum is also in double-figures at 10.8 ppg, while Dorian Briggs averages 9.9 ppg and Azaria Nave 9.7 ppg.
