Maryville, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell on the road to Northwest Missouri on Friday evening 3-0. With the loss, SBU drops to 2-9 (0-1 MIAA) on the season.

The Bearcats fell in the first two sets 25-12 before dropping the last set 25-8. SBU was led offensively by Taryn Marton who had 7 kills and Dana Neal 6 kills. Setter Anna Stuehm collected 19 assists while Hannah Blount led the backcourt with 8 digs.

SBU will return to action on Saturday, September 26 when they travel to Missouri Western. Play is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from St. Joseph, Missouri.
