Defensively Antion McBee led the Bearcats with nine tackles, while Julian Shade had 8 tackles with a forced fumble.

"Tonight was a tough one to swallow for our team," head coach Robert Clardy stated. "The guys fought hard and made some plays late to give us a shot in the end but we ran out of time. We didn't capitalize on some big play opportunities and they did and that was the biggest difference in the game. We played more disciplined football this week but didn't finish well enough to win."

The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, September 26 when they host Quincy on SBU Homecoming. Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m. from Plaster Stadium in Bolivar.
