Southwest Baptist senior guard Dilonna Johnson was selected for the USA D-2 Women's Basketball Team- Brazil Tour 2015. Dilonna was one of nine ladies selected to represent Team USA on the tour.
 
The USA D-2 Men's & Women's Basketball Teams began their Brazil Tour 2015 in Kansas City, Florida on August 3rd.  The tour ran from August 3-12.  After team orientation in Kansas City the team departed for Sao Paulo, Brazil on Monday, August 3.  The USA D-2 Basketball Teams played doubleheader games (Men & Women) on August 4, 5 and 6 in the state of Sao Paulo vs. selected teams from the region.  On August 7th the team traveled to Rio de Janeiro for their final game on August 10th.  The team departed Brazil on the evening of August 11th and returned to Kansas City on August 12th.

While in Brazil the teams experienced educational, cultural and social aspects of Brazilian life through city, school and sports club visits.  While in Rio the team stayed on the famous Copacabana Beach and toured the Christ the Redeemer Statue and Sugar Loaf Mountain, two of the most recognizable landmarks in the world.
 
Dilonna led team USA the same way she leads the Lady Bearcats.
