Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team picked up their 16th victory of the season with a 7-2 win over Lindenwood on Saturday afternoon. With the victory, the Bearcats improve to 16-1 (6-1 MIAA) on the season.

The Bearcats started out strong in doubles play, sweeping all three matches to take a 3-0 lead. The doubles teams of Fanni Varga/Christina Zentai, Lani Tuemmers/Maria Josie Zehnder, and Beatrix Federer/Zorana Jovanovic all pick up victories for SBU. The Bearcats then took four of six singles matches with Varga, Zehnder, Tuemmers, and Jovanovic all winning to give SBU the 7-2 team victory.

SBU will return to action on Tuesday, April 7 when they host #20 Drury. Play is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. from Bolivar, Missouri.
